Practical Considerations When Booking Drone Filming Services
Regulatory Compliance
Drone filming in archaeological sites like Teotihuacan is strictly regulated. Licensed companies have the necessary permits and understand the flight restrictions. Independent operators should be asked to verify their permits for operating in this protected area.
Weather Contingencies
Both balloon flights and drone operations are weather-dependent. Reputable companies have clear policies for rescheduling if conditions prevent safe flight or quality filming. Ask about these policies before booking.
Timing Considerations
The golden hour at sunrise provides the most dramatic lighting for balloon flights over Teotihuacan. Professional drone operators understand how to work with these changing light conditions to capture the most spectacular footage.
Delivery Format
Confirm how you'll receive your footage - digital download, USB drive, or edited video - and the expected delivery timeframe. Some companies offer same-day basic edits, while more comprehensive productions may take several days.
Equipment Specifications
For the highest quality results, ensure your drone operator uses professional equipment with at least 4K video capability and proper stabilization systems to handle the variable conditions at altitude.
