Read Ithy articles in your AI app

Connect the public Ithy research library to an MCP-compatible AI app. Find explanations, read worked examples and follow their sources without opening an Ithy account.

Server URL: https://ithy.com/mcp

Connection: Streamable HTTP · Authentication: None

Plugin package for compatible clients: Ithy Research Library 1.0.0. This is a connection package, not a directory-approval badge.

Find an explanation, then inspect it

Search public article titles and descriptions in your preferred language. Read a matching article or request the sections relevant to your question. Results include the article link, available publication and edit dates, and linked sources.

The connector reads existing articles. It does not start new research, contact AI providers or use your Ithy answer allowance.

Add the public library

In an AI app that supports custom remote MCP connections, add https://ithy.com/mcp using Streamable HTTP and no authentication. Custom-connector availability depends on the app, plan and workspace permissions.

In ChatGPT, open Plugins and add a custom MCP server. In Claude, use the custom-connector option in connector settings. Choose the Ithy library when asking it to find or read an article. The setup below is also suitable for other MCP-compatible clients.

Try a specific question

Find an Ithy explanation of why a 1 TB SSD shows about 931 GiB, then read its worked conversion and source links.

Find the Ithy power-bank article and read the section explaining why 20,000 mAh does not mean four full phone charges.

Read the Ithy guide to confidence and prediction intervals. Compare the two intervals using its worked example.

What is shared

Your AI app sends the search topic, optional language and result limit, or the requested public article ID and optional topic focus. Do not include personal identifiers, credentials or private conversation history.

The connector does not ask for your Ithy login and cannot read accounts, private or link-only answers, folders or files. It returns existing public article text and links. Infrastructure request logs and abuse controls still apply; the connector does not save search topics as customer records.

Understand the limits

Ithy articles are AI-assisted secondary explanations. A page being available does not establish that all of its claims are correct or independently reviewed. Check the original linked sources, especially for important or time-sensitive decisions.

Search uses public titles and descriptions rather than every word in an article or the wider web. Reading returns bounded excerpts; a topic focus can miss wording that differs. Open the article for full context. General-interest connector access excludes adult material and articles held from new promotion.

A custom connection is not an approved marketplace listing, an endorsement by an AI company, or a guarantee that an AI app will cite Ithy in unrelated conversations.

Official Ithy product information. Generated research answers and historical articles may describe earlier information.
